The TRENDnet TEW-921DAP AX1800 Dual Band WiFi 6 PoE+ Access Point provides high-performance wireless networking. It supports AX1800 dual-band WiFi, with rates of up to 1201Mbps on 5GHz and 567Mbps on 2.4GHz, while MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies improve performance in high-density regions. The TRENDnet Access Point has several operating modes, including Access Point, Client Bridge, WDS AP, WDS Bridge, WDS Station, and Repeater. It has a single Gigabit PoE+ LAN connection, an optional power port, a mounting plate for ceiling or wall installation, and LED indicators that can be turned on and off. The TRENDnet TEW-921DAP Access Point supports up to WPA3 encryption, has a captive portal for hotspot use, and supports up to 8 SSIDs per band, for a total of 24. WiFi traffic shaping, airtime fairness, RSSI threshold settings, band steering, and IGMP snooping improve overall management and performance. TRENDnet Hive provides cloud-based management, including remote configuration, firmware updates, and monitoring. TRENDnet TEW-921DAP AX1800 Dual Band WiFi 6 PoE+ Access Point supports web-based management, SNMP v1/v3, STP, event recording, ping test, traceroute, and scheduled reboots. 802.1Q supports VLAN assignment per SSID, and IPv6 protocols include Link-Local, Static, SLAAC, and DHCPv6. The TRENDnet TEW-921DAP Dual Band Access Point provides security features such as MAC filtering, maximum client limits, and a variety of encryption types, including WEP, WPA/WPA2-PSK, WPA/WPA2-RADIUS, and WPA3/PSK. It supports both external (Coovachilli) and internal captive portals with customized pages. The 2x2:2 MIMO antenna design has an internal gain of 3.2 dBi on 2.4GHz and 4.3 dBi on 5GHz, and can support modulation schemes up to 1024-QAM. Under FCC limitations, wireless output power can reach 30 dBm at 5GHz and 29 dBm at 2.4GHz. The receiving sensitivity ranges from -90 dBm to -63 dBm, depending on the standard. The TRENDnet TEW-921DAP AX1800 Dual Band WiFi 6 PoE+ Access Point uses IEEE 802.3at PoE+ and has a maximum power consumption of 15W, with an optional 12V DC adaptor.
